Weird Western Reviews

Weird Western Reviews

Hi guys,

I have decided to do my bit for the weird western genre by listing and reviewing weird western books, comics, games, TV, movies etc.. Why? I hear you ask. Because I love the genre and I would like to do my bit to promote this cool genre.

How will I review a product and what will it contain? The reviews will be short and may contain things like:

  • A book cover, picture or screenshot of the product
  • A brief description or book blurb
  • A link to the product (Goodreads, Homepage etc., but not an online seller if it can be helped)
  • My personal opinion of the product
  • My personal scores for each aspect of the product as defined by me (well it is MY review)
  • My personal overall rating out of five stars
    • 5 Stars: Awesome! I couldn’t put it down
    • 4 Stars: Fantastic. A real page-turner
    • 3 Stars: Enjoyable. A good read
    • 2 Stars: Not fun. A struggle to read
    • 1 Star: Not recommended (no hate)

If you are interested in the weird western genre and most intelligent, good-looking people are, then check back with my blog regularly.

The reviews will be title; Review 1, Review 2 etc.. Yeah, I know. It’s a brilliant naming convention and I should patent it…

Doc Holliday’s first draft is finished

The first draft of Doc Holliday, book 2 of the Sky Fire Chronicles, is finished. I am now in the editing phase (and loving it), combing the story for grammar mistakes and making story adjustments. When this is self editing finished, the book will be sent to my professional Editor. If it all goes to plan, Doc Holliday will be published at the end of April.

I hope you will enjoy this new action packed adventure.

Billie the Kid

Billie the Kid

The first full novel of the Sky Fire Chronicles, Billie the Kid (book link), is now published. I hope you enjoy reading it.

The series is set in the Amercian west after an event called the Sky Fires. This novel is centered around a young woman called Billie Bonney and the events that changed her life. An early reader called this series The Magnificent 7 meets the X-men – I really like that description!

Please let me know what you think of Billie the Kid.

The next novel in the series is called Doc Holliday and I’m busy writing it now. It should be published early 2018.

The Dragon Stone

The Dragon Stone

The Dragon Stone novella has come out Alchemy and Arcana Anthology and now is available to purchase as a ‘standalone’ story. This story will be the beginning of a new series called The Dragon Stone Chronicles which I will write next year. It is an Urban Fantasy series about Ryver and her journey to make sense of her crazy life. It should be fun (and possible dark).

Here is the cover for Book 1 (short story):
