last weekend I attended the CQ Literary Festival in Rockhampton. It was a small affair with about twenty people in attendance. There were eight Australian authors spoke on different writely (is that a word?) topics. I was enrolled in several workshops including one on Writing Fantasy but I was the only one and it was canceled! I did enjoy the other workshops and I find it very interesting to listen to authors talking about their writing (and life) journey. Everyone story is unique.
As the attendance was low this year, the organiser was unsure if it would be viable next year. I hope it is. Fingers crossed.
